How do I book driving lessons?

How long is each driving lesson?

Lessons are 2 hours long. Two-hour lessons are often recommended because they allow more time to practise and make faster progress.

Where do lessons start and finish?

Lessons usually start and finish from your home, school, college, or workplace if you're within the local area.

Do I need to pass my theory test before starting lessons?

No, you can begin practical driving lessons before passing your theory test. However, we recommend studying for the theory alongside your driving lessons so you’re ready when the time comes to book your practical test.

How many lessons will I need to pass?

Everyone learns at a different pace, so the number of lessons varies. Some learners pass in fewer lessons, while others take longer depending on experience, confidence, and practice between lessons.

Can nervous drivers learn with you?

Absolutely. Many learners feel nervous when they first start driving. Lessons are calm, structured, and focused on helping you build confidence at your own pace.

Do you offer refresher lessons?

Yes. Refresher lessons are available for drivers who already have a licence but want to rebuild confidence or improve specific skills.

What car will I learn to drive in?

You will learn in a modern dual-control car, meaning the instructor has additional pedals to ensure safety during lessons.

Can I use your car for my driving test?

Yes. If you're test-ready, you can usually use the same car you’ve been learning in for your practical driving test.

What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 48 hours’ notice so the time can be offered to another learner.

Do you offer intensive driving courses?

Depending on availability, intensive or semi-intensive lesson plans may be available to help learners progress more quickly.
